Our History

Founded in September 2022, the True Haven Foundation was created to specifically support the security needs of those at high risk of abuse and continued violence. 

As former members of law enforcement, our founders experienced first-hand the gaps in security and safety where persons were exposed to on-going violence day-to-day, and established True Haven to address this challenge. True Haven is a federally registered not-for-profit foundation, able to coordinate the needed security supports at no cost to its clients, while partnering with discreet and professional organizations operating in various cities across Canada.

True Haven operates on a flat corporate structure, with low overhead and minimal paid staffing / personnel costs, ensuring our donors’ dollars end up where they need to be – in the front-line deployment of security resources for those in need.
